Bio

Cole Garrett is an experienced public affairs and strategic communications professional with over 15 years of expertise spanning PR consulting, government relations, and organizational development. He has held positions at leading firms including Dentsu, Kreab, and FleishmanHillard, where he supported clients ranging from the Japan Prime Minister’s Office and Ministry of Foreign Affairs to major multinational corporations.

Cole has managed high-level executive visits to Japan, coordinating government and media engagements, diplomatic protocols, and speechwriting. He also brings experience in cultural communications through his work at Yuzu Kyodai, where he led semiotics research projects for major FMCG clients.

Cole holds a Bachelor’s degree in Asia Studies with Honors from Vanderbilt University and a Certificate in Mediation and Conflict Resolution from Harvard Law School.

Cole is an advocate of mental health awareness and is passionate about suicide prevention. He is certified as a QPR Gatekeeping Instructor and as a Crisis Specialist by the American Association of Suicidology.
